Fukuoka stalls culture
Fukuoka is known for its Yatai, which I've highlighted before. Before I first came to Japan, I was thinking this snack stalls are much more common, but except occasionally in parks and squares and festivals, they are rare.
The open Okonomiyaki / Yakitori / Takoyaki stalls are there now several times more often.
But they belong to the evening in Fukuoka city, as soon as it darkens the campers are quasi-pitched and the channel to be feeding hiking mile.
Because you can go to take photos and still end on one of the seats, because one can not escape the great atmosphere and yet there intercalates dinner.
is not so bad, tastes great.
Some of the booths look as if they had been in the 70s with the same equipment used. I'm not sure how lucrative such a Yatai. On the one hand, they are something rickety, on the other hand, the prices are not cheaper than in any normal pub. And shortly-before-homeless act not the companies.
usually have interior space up to ten guests, you can often choose between Oden, ramen and all kinds of skewers, but that varies from stall to stall, of course. The beer is naturally cooled. Who makes stopover in Fukuoka, should in any case Yatai times.
